David Clifton-Strawn is an independent portrait photographer. Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1961, he received a BA in early 20th century American literature in 1988. Self-taught in photography, he is inspired by Herman Leonard, Richard Avedon, Diane Arbus, Robert Mapplethorpe, Duane Michals, and Zanele Muholi. He lives and works in Atlanta.
